CAN I GET MY FAULTY INVERTER COLLECTED. WHAT WOULD THE COST BE?
The Repair or Exchange fixed price includes all collection and return freight costs. Inverter Service can arrange to have the faulty collected and freighted to our Service Centre. Just pack the Inverter in a protective carton. We will get Tollipec to call and collect.
As of 13/02/2017 all freight costs are now included in the listed fixed price charge.
This means that we will collect the faulty Inverter and return the repaired Inverter at no extra cost.
WHAT ARE THE REPAIR COSTS?
The repair costs start at a fixed cost of $350. See the Service page for you Brand and Model for price details.
This cost includes the collection freight cost, all handling, labour involved in the diagnosis and repair of the fault. Includes all spare parts used. Includes labour involved in testing, quality control and appliance safety checks. Includes packing, dispatch and all freighting costs to return the repaired Inverter back to you. Includes GST charges.
WHAT DOES FIXED REPAIR OR EXCHANGE COST MEAN?
This means that the cost will not be any more than the cost stated on the Service page for your Brand of Inverter. There are no hidden charges. The stated fixed cost is what you will be charged and this cost is what you will see on your Credit Card Statement.
HOW DO I PAY
Payment can be made by Credit Card. We accept Visa and MasterCard. Our documents that we send to you contain a payment section.
We only apply charges to your Credit Card on the day that we dispatch your repaired Inverter.
WHAT HAPPENS IF MY FAULTY INVERTER CANNOT BE REPAIRED?
If we cannot repair or replace the Inverter there is no charge.
But, the vast majority of Inverters can be repaired. It is rare that we cannot repair an Inverter. In some cases though, because of lightning strikes or other major damage to the Inverter we will not repair the Inverter because of future reliability of the Inverter. In these cases, when we have stock, we may be able to exchange the Inverter with an identical brand and model refurbished Inverter. The cost may be no more than the fixed cost of a repair.
WHAT ARE THE EXCHANGE COSTS?
The Exchange costs start at $375 includes all freight costs and GST.

WHAT IS AN EXCHANGE INVERTER ?
An Exchange Inverter is a used Inverter that has been refurbished to full operational condition including power generation up to the stated maximum of the Model of Inverter.
The Inverter cabinet may have some cosmetic blemishes, but these would have no effect on the power generation capabilities of the Inverter.
